This is my personal site. Over the years, this has become much less of an 'old school' website and more of a nexus for services and resources that I have come to depend on such as photo sharing, social networking, instant messaging, contact management, Open Source hosting and other downloads. Please keep in mind that while you are encouraged to explore (as some bits are there for the general public), some areas of this site is designed for my own consumption.
To this end, I will be keeping some downloads along with a sandbox of test projects that I am constantly playing around with. Also, be aware that some of the more 'experimental' projects that are exposed externally, will be up and down as I work on my own servers. This means that it will not be unusual for there to be some dead links in the 'sandbox' section.
As a final note, with very few exceptions, the images on this site are created by me via software or are photos taken by me. The banner photos and other recent shots were taken with a Nikon D80 (DSLR).

Keeping in touch with friends and colleagues is very important. To this end, you will find my public contact information here:
A good way to reach me is through the grapevine, check out my LinkedIn Profile. I recommend that people check out the recommendations as some colleagues have taken the time to post some good ones. This is valuable reading for anyone interested in getting a better picture of what it is like to work with me on a day to day basis.
I do have a blog but I don't post much despite a desire to do it more regularly... time is a factor. You can find that here.
Another way is via the forums related to my Open Source activities. The project that I am currently focused on is the Surinam project on SourceForge.net. I recommend checking that out at Surinam Project Home

This subsection contains some additional background information that talks about my early career experience. This is just too off-topic for a resume but I often asked about how I got started on my current career path. |
My interests are sometimes simple but are often varied and my ambition often out-paces the available hours that I can devote to such pursuits; this subsection provides a detailed listing of the more noteworthy projects. |
For me, software development is both a career and a passion. As a result of this, I have brought a great many personal software projects to completion and some of them, for one reason or another remain interesting enough for me to want to make them available for downloading... they can be found here. |
While I use a hosting service for my domain (Dream Host), I also develop and host special projects of my own from time to time. This subsection is where all that happens. |
